About the role
Perform in filmed productions, participate in rehearsals and table reads, and develop characters for the screen. This internship is for actors who want real on-camera experience: learning how a performance changes when the lens is two feet away, and how a working set actually runs.
What you’ll do
- Perform roles in short films, scripted series, and filmed content
- Take part in table reads, rehearsals, and blocking sessions with directors
- Break down scripts and build characters: objectives, beats, and relationships
- Learn on-set craft: hitting marks, matching continuity, and adjusting between takes
- Record self-tapes for casting and for remote projects
- Read opposite other actors in auditions and rehearsals
What we’re looking for
- Acting training through classes, a theatre or film program, workshops, or community theatre
- A current headshot, plus a reel or two contrasting self-taped monologues
- The ability to memorize lines quickly and take direction well
- Professionalism and reliability with call times and schedules
- Comfort on camera and openness to feedback
- Current students, recent graduates, and self-taught applicants are all welcome — no professional credits required
Nice to have
- On-set experience in student or independent films
- Improv, stage combat, dance, or singing skills
- A home self-tape setup (camera or phone, simple lighting, and a plain backdrop)
What you’ll gain
- On-camera footage you can cut into your reel
- Credit on the productions you appear in
- Direct coaching from directors and acting mentors
Where you’ll work
Las Vegas, NV, in person or remote. Remote interns work through self-tapes and video rehearsals, so you’ll need a reliable self-tape setup and internet connection.
How to apply
Attach your resume and include links to your headshot and your reel or self-tapes in the message box on the application form.
